CentralValleyTalk.com
The Web-Based Television Network which inspired CVT: The Board Game.

Central ValleyTalk.com was started in 2008 out of a small studio in Fresno, CA. While the studio has remained small, the audience quickly grew and now has a large following which continues to grow.

"You have been hired as one of a handful of new producers of a small internet-television network. They've only been Public Access until now but are on the verge of becoming something bigger. While making your way around the board; you are tasked with acquiring content and attracting advertisers, using advertiser dollars to 'purchase' time slots, find the right mix of content and times for your randomly picked objective, keep your audience happy, increase ratings; and do it all before your opponent(s) can. But watch out; audiences can be fickle, advertisers unreliable, the owner unreceptive, and other producers have their own objective... which may even include capitalizing on your own moves!"

CVT The Board Game, is inspired by (and expanded from) J.Riley's experiences working withCentralValleyTalk.com, a web-based-television network out of Fresno, CA. During his time atCentralValleyTalk.com, J.Riley began believing that the idea of turning a small Internet-Network into a Major player was not only a great idea (as an internet network is not limited to localized audience as is a standard television network); but that it would also make for wonderful game play! To that end, J.Riley spent several years developing the concept until CVT The Board Game was born!
